What will our website look like?

On a phone, the call button is the first thing a customer sees. These two samples were built on the same system we'd use for your business. Both businesses are made up; the sites are real and you can click through them.

Will it get me calls?

That's what it's built for. Most people looking for a trade want someone now, so the site puts your number on a big button they can tap from their phone. Everything they need before they ring is on the same screen.

  • Tap to call. A large call button at the top, and a call bar that stays at the bottom of the screen as they scroll.
  • Areas you cover. The towns you work in, written out as plain text.
  • Hours. Your opening hours, or "24-hour call-out" if you offer it.
  • Reviews. A few lines from real customers, if you'd like them there.
  • A short form. For people who'd rather not ring. It comes straight to your email.

What should a plumber's or electrician's website include?

The services you offer, the areas you cover, your hours and a number to ring. One page is enough for most local trades. That's the €249 site. Here's what goes on it for each kind of trade:

  • Plumbing and heating. Leaks and burst pipes, boiler servicing and repairs, radiators, bathrooms and showers, heat pumps. Your RGII registration if you're a gas installer, shown only if you give us the number.
  • Electrical. Fault finding, fuse board upgrades, rewiring, sockets and lighting, EV chargers, smoke alarms. Your Safe Electric registration, shown only if you give us the number.
  • Cleaning. Homes, offices, end of tenancy, carpets, windows and gutters.
  • Gardens and trees. Garden maintenance, landscaping, patios and paving, hedges, tree surgery.
  • Locks and security. Lock-outs, lock changes, uPVC door repairs, safes and alarms.
  • Hire and transport. Plant and skip hire, haulage, removals, taxis and minibuses.

Want a separate page for each service? That's the €349 site, with up to five pages.

How long does it take?

24 hours for a one-page site, or 48 hours for up to five pages. Almost none of that is your time.

  1. You send what you have. One form: the business name, the areas you cover and the work you do. A few photos and a list of your services are plenty.
  2. We write it and build it. We write every word and build the site. Within 24 hours you're looking at the real, finished site, not a mock-up.
  3. You check it and it goes live. Tell us what to change (two rounds of changes are included), and it goes live on your domain when you're happy. You pay then, not before.

How much does a website for a tradesperson cost in Ireland?

At AI Sites, €249 + VAT for a one-page site or €349 + VAT for up to five pages, paid once. Hosting is €156 a year, which works out at €13 a month, or €15 a month if you'd rather pay monthly. There's no contract.

For comparison, a small Irish agency typically charges €2,500 to €6,000 for a site, and a freelancer €800 to €3,000. Whoever builds it, expect another €150 to €400 a year to keep it online.

Ranges from Irish agency and freelancer pricing guides published in 2026, checked September 2026. Every project is different; treat these as the shape of the market, not a quote. Our €249 to €349 is followed by €156 a year for hosting. All prices ex VAT.

How it's this price: we build the first draft with AI, then a person goes through every line and fixes it properly. Where the market figures come from is set out in our guide to what a website costs in Ireland.

Can customers ring me straight from the site?

Yes. On a phone, your number is a button: one tap and it rings you. There's one at the top of the page and a call bar that stays at the bottom of the screen as people scroll, so they never have to look for it.

Who looks after it?

We do. Hosting, security updates, backups and small changes, like a new area or a price change, are all included in the €13 a month. Send us an email and we make the change.

Every site we host also comes with SolidCookie, our own cookie-consent service, so the cookie banner is handled too. It sells on its own for €9 a month per site; for you it's part of the €13.

Will people find us?

They should. Your town and your services are written into the page in plain words, so a search like "plumber near me" or "electrician in Tralee" has something to match. The site is fast, works on phones and is built so Google can read all of it. It should start showing up in local searches within a few weeks. Nobody can promise a ranking, and we don't.

Will customers find you when they ask an AI?

More people now ask ChatGPT or Google's AI answers for a plumber or an electrician near them. Those assistants tend to suggest businesses whose websites they can read and check. On your own domain, the sites we build are set up for that:

  • Each service and the areas you cover are listed in plain text that crawlers can read, not words inside images.
  • Structured data marks the site as a local business (schema.org HomeAndConstructionBusiness for trades in the home, LocalBusiness otherwise), with your business name, phone and email.
  • Your name, address or service area, phone number and hours are written out in text, the same way everywhere on the site.
  • AI crawlers are allowed in, not blocked, and the site publishes an llms.txt file that summarises the business for them.

That should help an assistant suggest you for something like "emergency plumber in Tralee". Nobody can promise it will. Our guide on how AI search finds a small business explains what assistants look for.

Common questions

How much does a website for a tradesperson cost?

€249 + VAT for a one-page site, which suits most local trades, or €349 + VAT for up to five pages. After that, hosting is €156 a year (€13 a month) or €15 a month billed monthly, with small changes included. You see the finished site before you pay anything.

How long does it take to build?

24 hours from when you send your details for a one-page site, or 48 hours for up to five pages. Pointing your domain at the new site usually takes a few hours more.

Can I change my areas and prices myself?

Yes. Your login has a simple click-and-type editor for text, areas, prices and photos. If you'd rather not, send us an email and we'll make the change. Small changes like that are included in the monthly fee.

Can customers ring me straight from the site?

Yes. On a phone, your number is a button they tap to ring you, at the top of the page and in a call bar that stays at the bottom of the screen. On a computer, the number is written out in full.

Can we keep our domain and email?

Yes. We point your existing domain at the new site and leave your email settings alone, so your email keeps working as it does now. If you don't have a domain yet, we set one up as part of the build.

What if I only have a directory listing or a Facebook page?

That's a good place to start. Send us the link and we use it as the starting point. The listing or page stays as it is, and the new site gives you an address of your own that shows up in Google.

What happens if we leave?

The site and the domain are yours. If you move to someone else, we hand over the complete site files and help point the domain wherever you want it. There's no contract to end.
