What will our website look like?

Calm, clear and easy to use on a phone. This sample was built on the same system we'd use for your practice. The practice is made up; the site is real and you can click through it.

What should an accountant's website include?

Five pages cover what most clients look for before they contact a small practice. That's what the €349 package is built around.

  1. Home. Who you are, where you are, who you work with, and how to get in touch.
  2. Services. A clear section for each one: annual accounts, tax returns, payroll, VAT, bookkeeping, company formation, and whatever else you do.
  3. Who you work with. Sole traders, farmers, small companies, landlords: the clients you know best, in plain words.
  4. The team and how you work. Each accountant and their areas, how a first meeting works, and how you set out fees.
  5. Contact. Address, phone, email, a map and your opening hours.

Need more than five pages, such as a page for each service? Tell us on the form and we'll quote before we start.

How long does it take?

48 hours from when you send us your details. Almost all of that time is ours, not yours, even in the run-up to Pay and File.

  1. You send what you have. One form: the practice name, address, services and the team. Your current website, a brochure or a few lines on each service is plenty.
  2. We write it and build it. Every page is written in plain English and built for you. Within 48 hours you're looking at the real, finished site, not a mock-up.
  3. You approve every word. Read it, tell us what to change (two rounds of changes are included), and it goes live on your domain when you're happy. You pay then, not before.

How much does a website for an accountant cost in Ireland?

At AI Sites, €349 + VAT for up to five pages or €249 + VAT for one page, paid once. Hosting is €156 a year, which works out at €13 a month, or €15 a month if you'd rather pay monthly. There's no contract.

For comparison, a small Irish agency typically charges €2,500 to €6,000 for a site like this, and a freelancer €800 to €3,000. Whoever builds it, expect another €150 to €400 a year to keep it online.

Ranges from Irish agency and freelancer pricing guides published in 2026, checked September 2026. Every project is different; treat these as the shape of the market, not a quote. Our €249 to €349 is followed by €156 a year for hosting. All prices ex VAT.

How it's this price: we build the first draft with AI, then a person goes through every page and fixes it properly. Where the market figures come from is set out in our guide to what a website costs in Ireland.

Who writes the services pages?

We do. Send us what you have, whether that's your current site, a brochure or a few notes on each service, and we write it in plain English for clients rather than for other accountants. You read and approve every word before anything goes live.

What about the rules on publicity?

Accountancy bodies have rules on how members describe themselves and their services, and the practice has the final say on every word. We don't claim to guarantee compliance; that judgement belongs to you. What we do is make it easy: the practice approves all the wording before launch, we add any wording your professional body requires exactly as you give it to us, and if anything would concern them, we change it, before or after the site goes live.

The cookie part, yes. Every site we host comes with SolidCookie, our own cookie-consent service, included in the €13 a month. It sells on its own for €9 a month per site.

It shows a consent banner in your practice's colours, and nothing beyond what the site needs to work runs until the visitor agrees, as the ePrivacy Regulations 2011 require. It keeps a record of each consent and hosts your cookie policy. That helps with GDPR rather than delivering it on its own: how the practice handles client data, emails and files is still yours to manage. More detail is in our guide to cookie consent in Ireland.

Will people find us?

They should. Each service gets its own section that names your town in plain words, so a search like "accountant in Ennis" or "tax returns in Clare" has something to match. The site is fast, works on phones and is built so Google can read every page. It should start showing up in local searches within a few weeks. Nobody can promise a ranking, and we don't.

Will clients find you when they ask an AI?

More people now ask ChatGPT or Google's AI answers which accountant to use. Those assistants tend to recommend practices whose websites they can read and check. On your own domain, the sites we build are set up for that:

  • Each service has its own section in plain text that crawlers can read, not words inside images.
  • Structured data marks the site as a financial service (schema.org FinancialService), with your practice name, phone and email.
  • Your name, address, phone number and opening hours are written out in text, the same way on every page.
  • AI crawlers are allowed in, not blocked, and the site publishes an llms.txt file that summarises the practice for them.

That should help an assistant recommend you for something like "accountant for farmers in Cavan". Nobody can promise it will. Our guide on how AI search finds a small business explains what assistants look for.

Common questions

How much does a website for an accountancy practice cost?

€349 + VAT for up to five pages, which suits most practices, or €249 + VAT for a single page. After that, hosting is €156 a year (€13 a month) or €15 a month billed monthly. You see the finished site before you pay anything.

How long does it take to build?

48 hours from when you send your details for a site of up to five pages, or 24 hours for a one-page site. Pointing your domain at the new site usually takes a few hours more.

Will the wording meet our professional body's rules?

The practice decides that, and we make it easy. You approve every word before launch, we add any wording your professional body requires exactly as you give it to us, and if anything would concern them we change it, before or after the site goes live. We don't guarantee compliance, because that judgement belongs to the practice.

Who writes the services pages?

We do, from whatever you send: your current site, a brochure, or a few notes on each service. It's written in plain English for clients. You read and approve all of it before the site goes live.

Can we keep our domain and email?

Yes. We point your existing domain at the new site and leave your email settings alone, so your email keeps working as it does now. If you don't have a domain yet, we set one up as part of the build.

What if we want changes later?

Your login has a simple click-and-type editor for text, opening hours and photos. For a small change, like a new phone number, you can ask us. A new page or section is a bigger job, so we quote for it first.

What happens if we leave?

The site and the domain are yours. If you move to someone else, we hand over the complete site files and help point the domain wherever you want it. There's no contract to end.
