# No-hassle websites for garages in Ireland from €249

By Andrew Harkness, who runs aisites.ie and WP Care. Last reviewed 3 October 2026. Canonical: https://aisites.ie/websites-for-garages

AI Sites (aisites.ie) builds websites for Irish garages and mechanics. €249 + VAT for a one-page site, live in 24 hours, then €13 a month for hosting and updates. You see the finished site before you pay.

Want a page for each service? **€349 + VAT** for up to five pages, live in 48 hours. Hosting is €13 a month billed yearly, or €15 billed monthly, and we look after the site for you. You see the finished site before you pay. Don't like it? You don't pay.

## What will our website look like?

On a phone, the call button is the first thing a driver sees. These two samples were built on the same system we'd use for your garage. Both garages are made up; the sites are real and you can click through them.

- **Mulhare Motors**: One-page site for an independent garage, Portlaoise. Navy and orange. Sample site; the garage is fictional. [See the full sample site](https://mulhare-motors-qqukj.aisites.ie/)
- **Coady Motors**: Five-page site for a garage in Walkinstown, Dublin 12. Clean and modern. Sample site; the garage is fictional. [See the full sample site](https://coady-motors-gadpz.aisites.ie/)

## Will it get me calls?

That's what it's built for. On a phone, a driver sees your number on a big button and rings you with one tap. Everything they need before they ring is on the same screen.

- **Tap to call.** A large call button at the top, and a call bar that stays at the bottom of the screen as they scroll.
- **Opening hours.** Written out plainly, so nobody rings at seven on a Sunday.
- **Map and directions.** Your location, with a line on how to find you.
- **Services and makes.** What you do and what you work on, in plain text a driver can scan.
- **Book a service.** A short form for people who'd rather not ring. It comes straight to your email.

## What should a garage website include?

One page is enough for most garages. That's what the €249 site is built around:

1. **Services.** Servicing (full and interim), NCT prep and retests, diagnostics and warning lights, clutches, timing belts, brakes, tyres, and anything else you do, such as panel work or used cars.
2. **Makes you work on.** Listed as text, for example "all makes, including Toyota, Volkswagen, Ford, Skoda and vans".
3. **Opening hours and location.** Hours, address, Eircode, a map and directions.
4. **Reviews.** A few lines from real customers, if you'd like them there.
5. **Book a service.** Your phone number on a call button, and a short booking request form.

Want a separate page for each service, or one for used cars? That's the €349 site, with up to five pages.

## How long does it take?

24 hours for a one-page site, or 48 hours for up to five pages. Almost none of that is your time.

1. **You send what you have.** One form: the garage name, address, hours and the work you do. A few photos of the workshop and your price list help. Ten minutes is plenty.
2. **We write it and build it.** We write every word and build the site. Within 24 hours you're looking at the real, finished site, not a mock-up.
3. **You check it and it goes live.** Tell us what to change (two rounds of changes are included), and it goes live on your domain when you're happy. You pay then, not before.

## How much does a website for a garage cost in Ireland?

At AI Sites, €249 + VAT for a one-page site or €349 + VAT for up to five pages, paid once. Hosting is €156 a year, which works out at €13 a month, or €15 a month if you'd rather pay monthly. There's no contract.

For comparison, a small Irish agency typically charges €2,500 to €6,000 for a site, and a freelancer €800 to €3,000. Whoever builds it, expect another €150 to €400 a year to keep it online.

| Option | Typical price to build | Running cost |
|---|---|---|
| Small studio or agency | €2,500 to €6,000 | €150 to €400 a year |
| Freelancer | €800 to €3,000 | €150 to €400 a year |
| DIY website builder | No build fee, 20 to 40 hours of your time | €150 to €400 a year |
| Done-for-you (aisites.ie) | €249 to €349 once | €156 a year |
*Ranges from Irish agency and freelancer pricing guides published in 2026, checked September 2026. Every project is different; treat these as the shape of the market, not a quote. Our €249 to €349 is followed by €156 a year for hosting. All prices ex VAT.*

How it's this price: we build the first draft with AI, then a person goes through every line and fixes it properly. Where the market figures come from is set out in our guide to [what a website costs in Ireland](https://aisites.ie/website-cost-ireland).

**[Tell us about your garage](https://aisites.ie/brief?plan=one-page)** €249 + VAT. Don't like it? You don't pay.

## Who looks after it?

We do. Hosting, security updates, backups and small changes, like new opening hours or a price change, are all included in the €13 a month. Send us an email and we make the change.

Every site we host also comes with [SolidCookie](https://www.solidcookie.com/), our own cookie-consent service, so the cookie banner is handled too. It sells on its own for €9 a month per site; for you it's part of the €13.

## Will people find us?

They should. Your town and the work you do are written into the page in plain words, so a search like "mechanic near me" or "NCT prep in Portlaoise" has something to match. The site is fast, works on phones and is built so Google can read all of it. It should start showing up in local searches within a few weeks. Nobody can promise a ranking, and we don't.

## Will drivers find you when they ask an AI?

More people now ask ChatGPT or Google's AI answers for a garage near them. Those assistants tend to suggest businesses whose websites they can read and check. On your own domain, the sites we build are set up for that:

- Your services and the makes you work on are listed in plain text that crawlers can read, not words inside images.
- Structured data marks the site as a car repair business (schema.org AutoRepair), with your garage name, phone and email.
- Your name, address, phone number and opening hours are written out in text, the same way everywhere on the site.
- AI crawlers are allowed in, not blocked, and the site publishes an llms.txt file that summarises the garage for them.

That should help an assistant suggest you for something like "NCT prep in Portlaoise". Nobody can promise it will. Our guide on [how AI search finds a small business](https://aisites.ie/ai-search-irish-business) explains what assistants look for.

## Common questions

**How much does a website for a garage cost?**
€249 + VAT for a one-page site, which suits most garages, or €349 + VAT for up to five pages. After that, hosting is €156 a year (€13 a month) or €15 a month billed monthly, with small changes included. You see the finished site before you pay anything.

**How long does it take to build?**
24 hours from when you send your details for a one-page site, or 48 hours for up to five pages. Pointing your domain at the new site usually takes a few hours more.

**Can I change my hours and prices myself?**
Yes. Your login has a simple click-and-type editor for text, opening hours, prices and photos. If you'd rather not, send us an email and we'll make the change. Small changes like that are included in the monthly fee.

**Can we keep our domain and email?**
Yes. We point your existing domain at the new site and leave your email settings alone, so your email keeps working as it does now. If you don't have a domain yet, we set one up as part of the build.

**Can customers book a service online?**
Yes, with a booking request form. The customer fills in their name, phone number, car and what it needs, and it comes straight to your email so you can ring them back with a time. If you already use an online booking system, we can link to it instead.

**What if I already have a website?**
Send us the address. We use it as the starting point, carry over the text and photos worth keeping, and switch your domain over once you're happy with the new site. Your old site stays up until then.

**What happens if we leave?**
The site and the domain are yours. If you move to someone else, we hand over the complete site files and help point the domain wherever you want it. There's no contract to end.
